Order events by event date (Explore and listing feed)

To order events by date in explore:

Go to listing types > edit events type > search forms > listing orders > click add option and drag it to the first spot.

Edit the option and name it for example "Upcoming events"

Order by, choose "Custom field"

Select field, choose the date field of your events

Data type, choose "Date"

Order, choose "Ascending"

After you followed the steps above, go to your explore page, make sure events type is selected and the listing order we created above is active.

Copy the URL generated in the browser bar

Go back to the page where you are using the listing feed widget and edit it with elementor

In the listing feed widget settings, under "Find listings using", choose "Explore page query"

Paste the URL you copied before and save changes.
