Compare listings

Listing comparison lets visitors select published listings from result cards and view their enabled fields side by side in a modal.

Add the comparison button

1. Go to Listing Types, edit the type, and open Preview Card → Preview Card.
2. Under Footer sections, add a section or expand an existing one.
3. Under Buttons, enable Add To Comparison.
4. Update the listing type.

Every footer-section type can expose the comparison button, so an Actions section is not required. On Explore and other supported result views, visitors can select listings and open the Compare items modal.

Choose the comparison rows

Open Fields in the listing type editor and expand each field. Enable Show in listing comparison popup for values that should become rows in the table, and disable it for fields that should remain private or are not useful side by side.

The listing title is always used as the comparison heading. MyListing has special output for file attachments, locations, work hours, related listings, products, and dates. Empty rows are omitted.

If ratings are enabled for the type, open General → Reviews and enable Show rating in compare modal to add a rating row.

Compare like with like

Comparison can include selected published listings even when their types differ. Fields are matched by field key, so the clearest tables come from types that use compatible keys and meanings.
