Listing Feed widget

The MyListing Listing Feed widget places listing preview cards on any Elementor page, with controls for the query, order, layout, pagination, and cache.

  1. Open a page with Elementor and add MyListing → Listing Feed.
  2. Choose the Grid or Carousel Template. Grid is the default.
  3. Set Listings per page; the default is 6. Configure the query under Find listings using:, whose default is Filters.
  4. Review the layout-specific settings, then update and test the page.

The cards themselves use the Preview Card design of each listing type. Edit the listing type when you need to change the information or actions shown inside a card.

Grid feeds default to three Desktop columns, three Laptop columns, two Tablet columns, and one Mobile column. Enable pagination? is off by default; when enabled, choose Pages, Load more, or Prev/Next. Prev/Next is the initial pagination choice. Isotope masonry is enabled unless Disable isotope masonry? is switched on.

For a carousel, enable Customize carousel? to control:

  • arrow or dot navigation and an inverted color for dark backgrounds;
  • autoplay, autoplay interval, and looping;
  • the number of visible listings on desktop, tablet, and mobile;
  • blank filler slides when three or fewer listings are returned.

Carousel customization is off by default. When enabled, the defaults are arrow navigation, no autoplay, a 2.5-second Carousel speed (s) interval, looping, and three, two, and one visible items on desktop, tablet, and mobile. Show blank slides? is enabled by default even when the other custom controls are off.

Filters mode can limit the feed by:

  • comma-separated user IDs under Filter by Authors;
  • categories, regions, tags, and custom taxonomies;
  • one or more listing types;
  • Normal, Featured, Promoted, or Custom priority;
  • an explicitly selected list of listings.

The selected-listings restriction is combined with the other active filters; it does not bypass them. Included order follows the explicit selected-listings order and is useful when you are curating that list manually.

The standard Order by choices are A-Z, Date, Included order, Rating, Random, and Last modified date, with Ascending or Descending direction. Date and Descending are the defaults. Order by priority first? is enabled by default and places higher-priority listings before applying the secondary order. Show badge for featured/promoted listings? is also enabled by default.

Enable Use listing type order? to choose one Listing type and one compatible Order by option from Listing Types → edit a type → Search Forms → Listing Order. This mode is designed to use MyListing’s search-index ordering and replaces the widget’s normal listing-type and order controls. Options containing proximity, relevance, an unsupported metadata type, or an invalid random/multi-clause combination are omitted from the widget selector.

Choose both values explicitly. For older or incomplete widget data, MyListing first reads the former indexed-type and indexed-order settings. If the type is still missing, it uses the first value from the old normal listing-type selection and then the first published listing type alphabetically. A missing order falls back to the first compatible order for that type. The old Use index search switch is also read as a migration alias for Use listing type order?.

Choose Explore page query URL when the feed should reproduce a more complex Explore search. Apply the desired filters and ordering on a public Explore page, copy the resulting URL from the browser, and paste it into Paste the URL here. The feed reads that URL’s query string and runs it through the Explore query; the page host and path are not used as the results destination.

Cache results for (in minutes) controls how long the initial server-rendered result is reused. The default is 720 minutes. Enter 0 to disable the feed cache.

This transient cache is used only when pagination is disabled. Enabling Pages, Load more, or Prev/Next bypasses it for both the initial result and pagination requests. On a non-paginated cached feed, newly published, edited, or reordered listings may not appear until the cache expires; shorten the duration for frequently changing feeds or set it to 0 while configuring and testing.
