Export recurring dates with WP All Export
MyListing stores recurring dates outside ordinary post metadata. Its WP All Export integration turns a specially named export column into a serialized value containing every date and recurrence rule.
Export the preset Event Date field
Section titled “Export the preset Event Date field”- Install and activate WP All Export, then go to All Export → New Export. The free edition is sufficient for this CSV workflow.
- Choose Specific Post Type, select Listings, and continue to Customize Export File.
- Open Custom Fields and add
_27_recurring_event_dateto the export. - Keep the default
IDcolumn in the export, leave the recurring-date column name unchanged, continue through the export settings, and run the export.
MyListing recognizes the _27_recurring_ prefix and uses event_date as the field key. The exported cell contains the field’s start, end, repeat state, frequency plus unit, and repeat-until value in serialized form. The export hook needs the row’s ID (or lowercase id) value to load the listing; removing that column prevents the conversion.
Export a custom recurring-date field
Section titled “Export a custom recurring-date field”Start with the same _27_recurring_event_date custom field, then change that export column’s name so the part after _27_recurring_ exactly matches your custom field key.
For example, if the listing-type field key is festival_dates, rename the column to:
_27_recurring_festival_datesDo not use the field label. You can find and verify the key by editing the Recurring Date field under Listing Types → edit a type → Fields.
Import the exported value again
Section titled “Import the exported value again”When moving the dates to another MyListing site:
- Create or edit a WP All Import job for the matching MyListing listing type.
- Open MyListing Add-On and find the destination Recurring Date field.
- Select Serialized.
- Map the
_27_recurring_...export column into the serialized input.
The destination field should have compatible time, recurrence, and multiple-date settings. Avoid editing the serialized string manually because changing its contents without updating its length markers corrupts the value.
MyListing also prepares the preset _location and _work_hours columns when they are included in a WP All Export listing export. Their serialized values can be mapped to the corresponding manual or serialized methods described in Import listings with WP All Import. The export controller does not provide the same special conversion for arbitrary custom Location or Work Hours field keys.
